How to Break In Your New Mat
Use it: The more the mat is used, the grippier and stickier it becomes over time.
Wash it: Clean in the bath or shower using a sponge and warm water.
Washing machine: Wash on a gentle cycle at a maximum of 40°C. Do not spin dry or tumble dry to protect the mat.
Salt scrub: Sprinkle a mixture of sea salt and warm water onto the surface, then gently wipe with a cloth or brush to help break down the initial surface layer and improve grip.
